Kayla Kosmalski
Miss Delaware Teen USA 2024
Kayla Kosmalski, an 18 year old high school senior and now graduate, is a remarkable individual with a 3.7 GPA and a passion for making a difference. She has excelled in various activities, from varsity cheerleading and competitive cheerleading to varsity swimming and theater.
Kayla’s dedication led her to be selected as a Gold Cheerleader to represent Middletown High School at the prestigious DFRC Blue-Gold All-Star Game. Additionally, she has actively contributed to the 321foundation and made a significant impact as an advocate for individuals with Down syndrome, successfully lobbying for the passage of laws such as Kayla’s Law, which empowers Americans with disabilities to achieve financial independence.
Beyond her advocacy work, Kayla has also pursued her interests in modeling and acting, and will soon be featured in the upcoming film “I Win.” Her achievements and determination have made her the first person with Down syndrome to represent Delaware as Miss Teen USA, a truly inspiring accomplishment.
